#114 MORGAN IRONS

In this Interview with Coach Amy Livezey, Morgan Irons shares how the rugged quiet of Montana, a life immersed in nature, and the search for narrative within her paintings have become a well of endless inspiration. She reminds us that nothing in our art is a throwaway. Every mark, every pause, every landscape holds a story waiting to be noticed. Through her quietly powerful figures and spacious compositions, Morgan reveals how simplicity can speak volumes, evoking fortitude, virtue, and connection to the land.

Question – do we know what kind of transparent paper she found to draw on? I didn’t hear it mentioned, did any of you? Thank you for the wonderful interview.

the masters!! thank you Amy!
This was a beautiful interview. I thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so I watched it twice. The work is gorgeous. The gentleness was almost tangible, between Amy and Morgan and also in the paintings. Beautiful paintings. This is what makes the academy worthwhile and worth staying for. Let us have more of this level of interview again. Thanks:)
thank you Amy, this was wonderful and inspiring. Morgan has achieved so much in a relatively short time span.
Living where she has chosen to be I can imagine has allowed her to filter out distractions and dedicate her life to her practice.
Wow, amazing work with such thoughtfulness. Beautifully done.
