So very inspiring. I had forgotten how much fun charcoal can be. Thank you Kate.
Thank you Kate!! I think I have all of these materials in my stash and quite frankly, I rarely use any of them because I really hadn’t had any idea how to use them. A bit of ink, a bit of graphite pencils, a bit of charcoal pencils…. but I am sooooo excited to really dive in and experiment, explore and enjoy them all! Excellent class, up there at the top of the list of greats! Thank you, I’m always inspired by you and your work!
I am so pleased that you are feeling inspired Nancy….. and especially that you already have the materials….
Absolutely brilliant! I must get to drawing with charcoal, graphite and ink. I can see how much this will strengthen my own work on canvas. You are a Master, Kate, and I am so happy to have watched this…very inspiring. Thank You so very much for this gift!
It is always a pleasure to share a passion!
You have furthered my insatiable curiosity with more to try. Much appreciated. It will definitely support my “still life and landscape” journey.
What a wonderful masterclass, Kate! Thank you for all of the time you put into creating this for us!
Nice coverage of these drawing media from what they are, how they work to the possibilities of combining media. Beautiful examples.
Great content and demos – thanks Kate! I keep telling myself to draw more so you’ve now inspired me to get on it!
Thank you, Kate. Such a great masterclass! Could you please share the list of the artists you brought up as examples later in the video? I wasn’t able to catch all of their names. Thank you!
Hi Ania, yes and sorry that I skipped through them but so pleased if you are interested in looking at them further – the order was Cezanne, Van Gogh, Bonnard, Matisse and Picasso – then Patrick Heron, John Piper, Richard Diebenkorn and Tracey Emin….
So inspiring, thank you Kate for a great demo.
Thank you Kate – beautiful!
This was a wonderful masterclass – one of the best! I did not think I would be interested but you were wonderful! Demos were great and I liked the masters at the end. Thank you!
SO pleased that you might have been converted Martha!!
