ART CRITIQUE #4 SUSAN HART

Nov 14, 2016

CLARIFYING THE LOUD AND QUIET CONVERSATIONS (Suggested for Stage Three; Learning)

This week’s Art Critique is with Academy member Susan Hart. In this video you will learn these 5 things:

-Just because something becomes recognizable in our work, it doesn’t mean it has to remain
-Values that aren’t really a light or a dark need to be determined as one or the other
-Getting more conscious, more aware of what we’re looking at, allows our work to become more sensitive
-When we are sure what to say to the world with our lights and darks, or differences, our work becomes stronger
-Middle values can be used as an accent—a complement—to what exists in the lights and darks
