I have a forest scene that is causing me all kinds of problems. I like some parts, and others I’ve painted over. That portion did not work, I tried again, and it’s worse than what it was before I started editing. I’m not sure where it’s going. I’m hoping for a big idea to propel me forward to save the good parts!
It was an ambitious attempt. Nothing to loose now!

Loved seeing your process Marji!!! You have really mastered that elusive place between abstract and representational !!!( which is an area I am struggling with unsuccessfully). And your final painting is so wonderful and I can feel the magic of the forest!
