  1. Thank you, Nadine. Finding ways to use AI seems amazing and hopefully relatively possible to learn. If it will give me more time to concentrate on making art, I will give it a try.

As usual, you are clear and interesting in your way of speaking and sharing.

    You are appreciated.

  2. Thank you, Nadine. I have been very hesitant to try this, but got examples really show how to utilize it as a tool and not as a replacement for writing or for thinking.

    • Hi Pamela, it was strange for me at first, I didn’t want to sound like a computer. What ended up happening is that it learned my writing preferences and how I speak and then adjusted to sound more like me. It’s fun to pop in when I need some help and then edit it so it sounds more personal.

  4. Thank you Nadine

I always start with going deep and have the origin and core of my writing say ,my artist statement or title for a painting, come from me and me only.
Sometimes this takes a bit longer but it comes from a place I think no platform or app can conjure.
HOWEVER, that being said once I have the core idea or statement AI is so wonderful embellishing or giving you so many options in editing. It’s a wonderful tool.
Thanks again spelling it out for us

    • Hi Kate, I agree technology is wonderful if used as a tool. Our personal experiences are powerful when shared from our points of view, in words that come from the heart. Chatgpt is a jumping-off point that can help for inspiration or if you’re stuck and need a spark. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Take care, Nadine.

  7. Hi Nadine,
I appreciated your clear and compelling session on using Chatgpt as a tool in all aspects of my art practice. I have done things on my own and will gladly reach out to my AI assistant to lessen the burden, especially when pressed for time or feel stuck.

You have a great conversational style, which immediately removes the stress of learning something new.

    Thank you.

  8. Thank you for this video Nadine, very helpful.
Right after watching I logged in and asked for a title for a painting, just for fun and exercise.
Unfortunately it keeps asking me to describe the painting so it could give a title. They do not accept an image. I don’t get it. And I know everyone’s sending image, like you did in your presentation.
Could it be because I’m using a iPad not a computer? (if that’s the case, then I cannot use it at all). Puzzle.

    • Hi Yildiz, you can use your iPad to use Chatgpt. If you log into Chatgpt, click the Create a New Chat icon in the upper left corner. There is a Plus + sign in the bubble where you would type your message. Click on the plus + sign. It should say upload from the computer; then you can pick Photo Library, take a photo, or Choose Files. If you pick a photo library, your images will pop up. Pick the painting you want, then click Add in the upper right-hand corner. Then, in the message box, type, What would be a great name for this painting? It will then spit out a list of names. Let me know if that works for you.
